Dr. Zeshan Hyder

Dr. Zeshan Hyder is a pioneer in the field of minimally invasive spine surgery and renowned for his skill in helping patients return to life before their back and neck pain. A board-certified orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Hyder graduated cum laude from the University of Illinois, received his medical degree from Midwestern University and completed his fellowship at the Texas Back Institute in Plano. He trained at many of Chicago’s top hospitals, including Advocate Christ Hospital, Northwestern Memorial Hospital and University of Chicago’s Weiss Memorial Hospital.

I’m from Michigan and was working in Indiana when I began to experience severe neck pain which led to pain/numbness in my left arm for three days. After a trip to the local ER, I was referred to Dr. Hyder by a family member and after contacting them and leaving a message on Sunday, they reached out to me on Monday, scheduled me for an appointment and emergency MRI, accurately diagnosed my issue (three collapsed vertebrae in my neck)  and got me into surgery by Friday the same week! I had IMMEDIATE relief upon waking in recovery and have been problem free ever since. A  HUGE thank you to Dr. Hyder and the whole staff @ NWI Spine Institute for responding so quickly and appropriately knowing I was out of town and dealing with a serious issue. I saw a few other doctors but didn’t get relief or understood why my back was killing me. I tried chiropractor, yoga, and had no relief. Met Dr Hyder and he went over my problem and offered a few different solutions. I really liked how he broke things down for me and explained it to me a few different ways. I came back a week later with my wife and he spent a very long time going over everything again. Still weighing our options but, never had any doctor be patient and go over things so well. Let’s start with getting an appointment I was able to get in within a week and they had late hours so I could wait till my wife got off her shift. Office was a little hard to find but I once we got there were delighted that it was extremely clean and the front desk girl was wearing a mask. Had to fill out the usual annoying paperwork but I was able to bring it back into the room. Saw a PA for  a few minutes then Dr Hyder who was very thorough. I was explained my problem and options for treatment. I liked they had everything on site.
