Dr. Zeshan Hyder is a pioneer in the field of minimally invasive spine surgery and renowned for his skill in helping patients return to life before their back and neck pain. A board-certified orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Hyder graduated cum laude from the University of Illinois, received his medical degree from Midwestern University and completed his fellowship at the Texas Back Institute in Plano. He trained at many of Chicago’s top hospitals, including Advocate Christ Hospital, Northwestern Memorial Hospital and University of Chicago’s Weiss Memorial Hospital.
Michael Strazzante, PA-C - Physician Assistant
Michael Strazzante has worked in the healthcare field for over 14 years. After obtaining his Associate degree in radiography, he was employed as a Radiologic Technologist in surgery. He soon completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Sciences which gave him the expertise to properly read and diagnose advanced imaging studies such as MRIs and CTs. Michael then went on to attend and graduate from Rush University with a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. After finishing graduate school, Michael was the Senior Practitioner and Practice Manager at an urgent care in Northwest Indiana for 3 years before joining Dr. Zeshan Hyder’s team. Michael has now been with Dr. Hyder for the past 5 years and has assisted Dr. Hyder in over 2,000 spinal surgeries.
Michael has an excellent bedside manner and a reputation for truly caring for his patients and is passionate about his work.
Michael has learned everything he knows about Orthopedic Spinal Surgery from Dr. Hyder. They discuss treatment plans and review all of the information on their patients thoroughly before making a surgical recommendation. Aries S. Calingo, PT, is a licensed physical therapist with extensive experience spanning over three decades in various healthcare settings including acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient therapy, and long-term care facilities. Skilled in evaluating and treating diverse patient populations with orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric conditions, Aries specializes in spine rehabilitation, post-surgical recovery, contracture management, and wheelchair assessments. Notable for implementing effective therapy programs and staff training, Aries has also contributed to marketing and clinical supervision initiatives. With a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines, Aries holds licenses in Illinois and Indiana. Regularly advancing expertise through seminars and certifications, including dry needling, vestibular rehab, myofascial release, and spinal manipulation, Aries remains committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
